About us

The origin of Number Four

Number Four is a not for profit organisation which was founded by Richard Hicks in late 2007. It was born out of Richard’s first-hand, previous experience of creating an award winning IT software business with both a social and environmental conscience and a deep-rooted community base.

Number Four Mission

To provide serviced space(s) to ethical leaders and the sustainability community as a catalyst for accelerating positive social and environmental change.

Number Four Vision

Number Four wants to facilitate the building of the ‘new establishment’ where the values and principles of ethical leadership and sustainability become the norms in business and government.

Our immediate focus is on putting the fantastic space at Charterhouse Square to good use and we are actively encouraging those at the forefront of ethical leadership and sustainability to come and utilise our venue.

Over time, we plan to set up a new, vibrant and energised members club and venue in central London. It will be targeted at ethically-minded business people and individuals or organisations with a desire to take a more ethical and sustainable approach to their work and lives.
